First Assignments

Here's a list of the first assignments. We will be going to the computer lab this Friday to create our user profiles and upload our first assignments. Find your class and prepare the assignment for Friday's class.

Spanish 2: Choose one of the comics from the worksheet handed out yesterday and write in the narration! The narrations should reflect the mood and happenings in the picture you choose. Focus on using the present tense correctly, you are required to have 5 full sentences written out.
Remember, if you don't want to use one of the given comics you are more than welcome to draw your own (librarians will be available to help you scan and upload your own image). The comics given in class will be on each computer for you to upload easily.

AP Spanish: Choose a character from one of the book's we've read as a class and write a short story using that character. Your story must be at least 200 words and include dialog between two or more characters. You can choose a main character from the books or a secondary character and develop a personality for them. I will be looking for correct verb tense, m/f and s/p agreement, as well as creativity.

!Buenas noticias! --AP Spanish

Tengo buenas noticias!

Because we have such a small AP-Spanish class this year I've been able to find enough volunteers for each student to have a native Spanish speaking partner! I've arranged it with the ELL class that you will be doing the same assignments and providing feedback to one another. You will be doing your writing in Spanish, while they will be doing their writing in English! This should really help everyone's writing abilities. You will be able to ask one another for more current slang or about certain cultural aspects of your writing so that you produce the best product possible. Who knows, you might even make some new friends in the process!

Chao,

Sennor Eberlein

spanishfiction.com! (doesn't exist yet...)

fanfiction.net--->you rock! (^_^)

but watch out, cuz our spanish class is going to RiVaL everything you do!

Writing stories using pre-existing characters is a great way to get all of our Spanish classes chatting! This year we're going to be pairing all of our students with partners from other Spanish classes! Each of you will be responsible for keeping your web-page up2date as the semester goes on. You and your partner will read and review one another's work. You will then be responsible for posting a reply giving feedback to your partner regarding 1) writing composition 2) story development and 3) suggestions for improving the overall qualitity of the work.

Required assignments will be discussed with each class and then posted on the website.
